Truman & Knightley Educational Trust

               Head of Publishing
                          9/1982 6/1984
I was responsible for all aspects of producing and
marketing two annual directories, the 688-page Schools
and the slimmer Where to Learn English in Great Britain.
I rejuvenated both titles and increased advertising
revenue by 40 per cent (in a very limited market) and
sales by 15 per cent. My department was the first to
be computerised, in the days when computers were still
                          things of mystery and terror.
Truman & Knightley subsequently was absorbed into
the even more delightfully named Gabbitas Thring (now
                          merely Gabbitas)
                          Educational Trust.
